The spongebob review game is by far the best PPT I have come across. Kudos to the creator, both my students and I loved it!

I found the templates for these Ppt review games on here, and just amended them according to the levels of my G1 and G2 classes for the mid-terms next week.

They're really good and I've had great lessons with all my classes... energy levels tend to get really high so just be aware of that  ;D
- some of the effects mess up for me sometimes so I need to do a run through of the games before each class just to make sure they work on the class room computers.

Thanks to the amazing people who spend so much time and effort making these games.

Here is a review game for Lessons 1-3 using the Angry Birds template. I made a remixed version of this game by combining elements from Daejeon's version and some ideas of my own. Make sure you install the font before opening the file 8).

Lesson 3-4-5 review using the League of Legends template.

Make sure everything is in the same folder.

I also put in word document with all the questions if you want to do more of a listening activity rather than reading.

Here is a review for chapters 4&5.  I made the slides REALLY basic...feel free to spice it up.  The actual game is awesome...thanks to Daejeon Shane templates.  This game can easily eat up 45 minutes if you are in a bind.

Midterm review for chapter 6 and 7

Make sure you always click on the bottom of the cups on ALL slides!

3 questions are listen and copy.

14- Oh, sorry, but it was a mistake.
15- For breakfast, he had toast and milk.
19- I agree.  It's a piece of cake.

Sonya

I couldn't get the happy face to play so the question is:
Question 2-  What does Kang Ho Dong think of school uniforms?
You should say, "I think school uniforms are way too expensive."
Answer should be something like, "He thinks uniforms are too expensive."

Mlatte...sorry...I checked it out and had no problem!  Maybe trying using the spacebar to advance through the question and the spin and then click on the appropriate cup?

I will be playing it next week and I'll have all students answer all question.  All teams will get a point for answering correctly but only one team will play the shuffle cups.

I've just created this - nicked from the awesome Batman template, and just copying and pasting the questions I had from another I review I'd made.

Probably could benefit from some pics, but time was lacking. It more or less covers the year (I didn't teach before chapter 6 so it's lacking a bit on those questions.)

Speaking rock paper scissors competition game.
I will have to change the game design a little because speaking fast to win doesn't exactly promote the best pronunciation nor a good practice for conversational english, but my students loved it nonetheless.
Game instructions. print number of game boards for half of your students. e.g. 30 students = 15 boards. Two students per board. Students start at opposite ends of the board. When I say go, i set a timer for a minute and they speak through the game spaces until they meet somewhere in the middle. At that time, they play rock paper scissors. The winner starts where the battle happened and the loser goes back to the starting point. Once a player reaches the other players 'start' they win. If rock paper scissors goes back and forth, the person closest to the other players start, wins. Pair up the winning matches until you come down a final match between students. I made them perform at the front and everyone was really into it.

Connect four that elicits key expressions from lesson 2-3. can easily be modified to include lesson 1 or any lesson for that matter. I've printed actual game boards out as well, but find that its better to just play as a class. i've done it different ways, find a way that works for you. i made four teams and had a bracket tournament i.e. team 1 vs team 2. winner of that plays winner of team 3 vs team 4.  they all have to say the key expression, and then i drop their color on the game board. can be really fun.

Here's an Adventure Time review of chapters 6-10 for the final exam. Credit goes to stemarty for another wonderful game template!

There's a slide in there titled "Missing Question" ... it's mostly my rough notes of what is to be covered in the review, so just ignore it!

Not sure if anyone has done this for this book but I made a quick textbook scavenger hunt to wrap up the end of the year before exams. I'm not sure how long it will take but I used it for the last 15 minutes and it worked very well.

Hope this is helpful!
