Grade 2-Lesson 2: Our Friends from Around the World
I start asking my students if they've ever been to another country OR if they know anyone in another country,like a penpal then I explain what "penpal" means...and how we don't write letter's anymore but can use e-mail and /skype or whatsapp etc.
I then start the PPt and we greet in the different languages ...then I ask them about the different countries demographics eg. If you live in South Korea....you are South Korean...etc.I like to ask them this as a trick question "What do we call people from Hong Kong?....lol...I get answers like Hong Konger ,everything except the correct answer,Chinese....I then go on to the food slides ,which they guess the country first then the food...with some help from me and then we do the dialogue.
Thanks again to a previous PPt owner from whom I took the food slides.

My lesson for Textbook Listen and Speak 1. The picture reveal game was a little too easy for them but they still had a great time.
