Thank you so much, Epistemology! The Mr Bean wakes up suggestion and your worksheet for favours were brilliant in my classes! I was really stuck on an activity and this worked wonders :)

Grade 2 Lesson 3: Are you a good Netizen?
Part 1
I gratefully took a few other people's lessons and put them into one prezi:

Here's the worksheet for the game at the end, again it came from someone else, but I just changed the favours and if they manage to get all 6 favours they can make their own.

I also show a clip from the I.T crowd where they talk about the internet... I think it's season 3 episode 4 or something. I use korean subs to help the students understand.

Lesson 3: Are You a Good Netizen? - Listen & Speak 2
« Reply #4 on: April 15, 2013, 03:05:20 pm »
Since there is no conversation to practice for Listen & Speak 2, I practiced the following conversation:

A) What's the matter? / What's wrong?
B) ----fill in anything here----
A) I think you should....
B) Thanks for your advice

After section C I had them play this board game in groups to practice speaking.

Here is the Prezi link to my first week of Grade Two lesson 3: http://prezi.com/okvzfhjw_m1g/grade-two-lesson-3/

I've spun the topic of Internet in order to discuss memes in class. After doing the Prezi and book work, I used the powerpoint to show them more examples of the Grumpy Cat, Badluck Brian, Scumbag Steve, and Success Kid memes. The last few slides I printed off so that the students could try their hand at writing their own memes. It went over very well with my more advanced classes, but not so well with the lower levels.

The week 2 stuff is more standard ppt fare -- what do you do online, could you do me a favor, and focus on sounds.

My stuff is a Frankenstein's monster of previously posted lessons, so feel free to use what you like and let the other limbs rot away.
