Guess i'll start this topic off then :D

This week I've focused on Konglish because I found out a lot of my students didn't realize that Konglish wasn't English.

I review my lesson 8 stuff at the beginning, then introduce what Konglish is etc

There are then a set of pictures and Ss say what is it then decide if that word is Konglish or English. (Note: all are Konglish, so the smart ones could pick up on the pattern.)

I then introduce the dialogue on pg 187 (edited)
Then they spot the mistakes on some Korean signs. We then do a dialogue together where I can check their pronunciation.
Finally they will make a small picture and change the Konglish to English.

This is my first time posting a lesson - there doesn't seem to be many people using this book, so every little helps I suppose! A very simple ppt introducing the dialogue for the first half of the lesson and a 'chain dialogue' to practice (my kids all have a student number, so I have a bag full of numbers that can be picked from at random). Then a worksheet - very easy. They find the names of the pictures in the wordsearch and then adapt the question.

I have started making worksheets for my lessons, so here is my set of worksheets for this lesson.  I incorporated a Bingo game to get them to use the key sentences for one of the study points.

Here is how I cover the textbook part for listening, speaking and Into the Conversation plus some activities thrown in here and there to spice it up a bit.
