Wow, is nobody else using this book, are are you just like me and lazy to make new lesson material?  ;D

I made a PPT using pics of celebs to get the kids to practice the speaking elements.  I start by saying how we don't use formal forms of speech in English like they do in Korean.  Then we would go through the PPT, the last slide gives them a task to do: make up a conversation in pairs using the key phrases from the book.  I haven't actually focused on using the text book in this lesson, as it gets quite boring.  I might or might not, depending on my students and how long we take to finish the PPT.

Then I made a cryptogram, which  I will attach here, but in case you can't open the file, go to Discovery Education and make your own.  It is so easy, you can build word searches and all kinds of different word puzzles and worksheets in a few minutes.

Here's the PPT I made. I tried to attach the Socrative quiz as well, but there was some kind of error (invalid extension or something.) Hope someone can make some use of it.

That ppt won't download. Maybe remove the periods (full stops) from the file name?

Hey guys,

I modified the above post with some more details and animations.
I changed a few slides and made a worksheet so that the students can have more speaking practice.
Hand out the worksheet with the paired practice part and they can use them for the performance section.
I'll probably hand out candy for the performers; it usually works as an incentive haha

The wav. file is for the phone animation.

Anyway, thanks to the original poster for the ideas and hope this can be helpful for someone.

I found these elsewhere on Waygook and edited them slightly for this lesson. It lines up very well. I won't be using the Part 2 but it's attached if anyone wants it.
