Thank you for your hard work. I am currently working with this book, as well as making up lesson plans of my own. I'd like the lesson plans I've created to be cohesive with what is happening in class. It's a bit challenging since the book appears random at best. I also don't want to teach the children things that presumably know already. My first week had a lot of bored faces. I guess review isn't that bad though!

I totally agree.  The disjointed structure of the book is really frustrating!

Still, this is really helpful.  Thanks everyone!

This page is incredibly useful, I have to use the text book exactly for about 25 minutes of my lesson. Is this common? Its really boring and hard to make the kids concentrate. I would much rather use my presentation based on the material as many seem to do

Thanks for your hard work organizing all of this stuff into something that makes sense.  It was really a lifesaver and gives you something of an idea when you're lost.

Thanks!  And good luck with the little kiddies in elementary!

Okay, the new lesson threads have been added to the beginning of the index. Please check there and add your new materials under each lesson. Don't forget to check the other lessons from the previous edition for other valuable materials that may be content related! If you need something modified or added, please send me a PM and I will take care of it when I get a chance. Best of luck with your lesson planning in the coming year!

I've now been given this book for the new semester, I've tried some lessons on the index, but still I guess not many people have it.

How do you guys teach from this book?

It seems really odd compared to my old one.

I found this link for the Grade 3 online textbook in the lesson 4 section. Sheila, can you add this to the index for other members?

Also, it seems to only work in Internet Explorer. I'm using Chrome and it doesn't work properly. I have an extension called IE Tab Multi that somehow makes websites think you're using IE. Anyway, it works in IE or with the IE Multi Tab extension in Chrome.

Am I the only person who received a different version of the Grade 2 book? Mine is light green/yellow/blue with letters spread out on the cover to spell out "English". Much like the pink/yellow/orange version of the Grade 1 book.

The chapters are:
1- My School is Special
2- We Can Save the Earth
3- Make Your Own Style
4- Money, Money, Money
5- Living Together in Korea
6- My Favorite Short Story
7- The Power of Harmony
8- Songs of Hope
9- Staying Healthy
10- I Can't Believe My Eyes!

You are not alone. I was told I had to add a second middleschool, and this is the book they handed me. Pretty sure this is a new edition situation here. And I was so hoping someone else would have already done all the work for me!
