Can't help but remember Grade 5's lesson.
This is a remake of grade 5's do you want some more. I changed it to fit period 2's Say more (listen and repeat.)

The chant for this lesson on the CD-ROM is pretty terrible. I found this awesome youtube video, though:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97RDmFzzNlY
It even has the key phrase "I want chicken." I'm going to make a shorter, edited version about 2 minutes long to use for my class and I'll try to post it later if I can.

this is my class im giving today - slides and role plays with a bomb game at the end
for the bomb game - split class into teams, then two from each team stand up and role play through the slide.
the bomb game template is cribbed from someone on here
anyway, enjoy, took me all morning to make!
Edit - i gave this class today it worked well, but i found a few mistakes in the timing of the picture animations etc.. I've corrected these, and made Ainsley say "Thank you!" to Jamie for giving him some fish.
Also - I noticed the
J
on the bomb game doesnt work - I dont know how to fix this (i didnt make the template, and my PPT is allin korean...) - if anyone knows how to do this can you let me know and ill correc it! thanks!

This is a great food song that my kids absolutely love. So much so that last year's lot continue to ask for this a year later.

A simple guessing game with a variety of foods using, "Do you want some_______?" It uses the template where the students choose a letter, then take a guess and it has the CLEAR option.
Thanks to the creator of the original template and to others from whom I borrowed food images.

simple ppt using 'a'/ 'some' and foods.
With my kids I will also be playing 6 areas (a variation of 4 corners). So I taped up some of the food pictures, for milk, juice, fish, potatoes, chicken and cookies, to make the 6 areas. If it goes over well with the stuents I will let a student call out the area to get the kids out.

Adding to that, there should be a distinction not only in singular vs. plural for a(n)/some, but also countable and uncountable. For example, nobody (unless if one chooses to be strange) ever asks, "Do you want 20 spaghetti noodles?" Instead, it's considered uncountable, even though it's possible for one to count. Or for cake, one doesn't a cake, but some cake (or a piece of cake).
Here is a modified ppt from BarryFunEnglish I used for 5th grade last year. The book doesn't offer this distinction in their curriculum, and they should.
Edit:
Here is a worksheet to test their ability to distinguish when to use a/an or some. You can do it in class, assign as homework, or use it as a quiz.

It's a little confusing having "some chicken" and "some potatoes" in the same dialogue as they mean different things, so I used this PPT and worksheet (had them draw and write in each box) as a warm up before getting into the book materials for this lesson. (custom font also attached)

Downwards modified version of the
Board Game
from Grade 5's similar unit "Do You Want Some More?" last year.
Target language is "Do you want some [ ]?" -> "Yes, please." "Here you are. Help yourself." / "No, thanks."
Rules are at the end. I tend to print the boards in colour and reuse and the scorecards in B/W. Keep the dice from the first class so you don't have to make them twice. You'll probably have to explain the rules in Korean for efficiency (downside), but they get to use the target language in context and thus gain a better appreciation for why want <> like without relying on translation (upside). Images used (photos run through befunky.com to render them better in B/W) are also attached lest you attempt to make a PPT explaining it in English.

Here are a couple of Tongue Twisters for the phonics part (P and B)
and a "Help Yourself" game, which is basically a variation of "Go Fish" that I made today. The dirrections are a bit text heavy at first, sorry, but I plan to leave slide 10 up while they are playing so they have a reference. (The last 3 slides are just for you, not for the students.)
Hope some of you can use this. :)
