Hi All,

Here's another lesson I made. It's based on the concept of making a bucket list. The focus is on thinking about your dreams and goals in life. It worked quite well for me. Please share your comments or questions if you download it. I also have a couple other lessons posted, they are World Food and Inventions.

NOTE: I zipped the lesson folder into one file to make everything tidier to download. Most of you will have no problems unzipping it I assume. If you can't open the file, just download WinRAR from the link below and install it. Then you'll have no problems opening compressed files after that.

the lesson is cute, but the wheel wont spin for me

The song is already inserted into the ppt and should automatically play behind the slide show of different "bucket list" ideas.

I just checked the game again and the wheel spins fine on my ppt. I do have to click the "spin" button twice sometimes.

I've been wondering how it'd go now considering there seems to be a new American show on TV in Korea called "buried list" or something like that. I loved how many of my students put "get a girlfriend/boyfriend" on their lists.

interesting. I have that game on backup as well. Maybe its because this computer only has a viewer for 07. Keep it in mind though for future reference that it may be an issue on some computers.

It's so interesting to see what the students write for their lists. Sometimes their ideas are really inspiring and sometimes they are just funny. One of my students wrote, "ride a tiger," and another wrote, "wrestle a gorilla."

I'm definitely going to use this lesson for the extra class I have with my advanced students.

I really like the idea and the ppt looks great!! Thank you so much for posting this.

I can't wait to see what my students write.

*Update* This lesson was a hit! They absolutely loved the riddle at the beginning. They also really liked the pictures for a polar swim. Seeing their bucket lists was absolutely precious and adorable.

I was just told that I'll get the chance to do this lesson with my lower level students and I think they'll be able to handle it. We'll probably spend more time on the game.

This lesson was terrific! I made a goals and dreams lesson for my more advance classes but I wasn't sure how to present it to my beginners. I had thought of making a bucket list, but didn't have to because of yours, great work, really well put together ppt and lesson.

Thanks SO much for this lesson plan!!! I started it this week with my 1st and 2nd graders, and it is a huge success! They seem to really be having fun with it, and I am loving some of the outrageous things they come up with! Thanks again!

I used this lesson with my extra class and it went over well. It generated a lot of discussion about travelling, family, friends and even some more serious topics like death and legacy (I'm at a high school).

Anyway, I attached a bare bones PPT people might want to use as well.

Thank you so much for this lesson! I used this in my after school class and it went over really well. The kids really liked the game at the end (even the team that ended up with negative 340 points hahah). Your PPT's are always great quality. Thanks again!

I agree with everyone..your PPTs are always so nice :) this lesson was so fun. soo funny and cute at what some of my students wrote in their bucket list :) students started to really think and get creative!

Hi, I too really enjoyed using this lesson. It's bulletproof, interests even unmotivated students and useful at the same time. Good work on behalf of the OP.
