Today I noticed an annoying banner ad that automatically expands every time you move your mouse over it. not just click on it, but simply move your mouse over. for example, if you are half-way down the page and move the mouse upwards towards the top of the page to get to 'Home' 'Forum' 'Help' etc. the ad will automatically expand in the middle of the page, which is super annoying. You actually have to move your mouse around it to try miss the ad to prevent it from expanding.

The ad in particular is from EOS, and has purple and black text on it. It has a picture of a purple money bag with writing on it on the right, and a Korean woman on the left. it says: "2014년 에오스와 함게 받으세요!" on it.

I understand that advertising revenue is important for the site, and have no problems with the ads in general - but please could ads like this one be disallowed in future? These auto-expanding ads are really, REALLY annoying and actually interfere with people using the site.

if it's an adsense banner, then we don't have much control over those.

How about getting ad-block and see if that works? I currently use it and I don't see any ads on this site.

you are certainly within your bounds to do that, but the site is entirely funded by the webmaster, and the ad revenue helps to keep it hosted and running as fast as it does. so please consider turning adblocker off for waygook.org
