Round the world Quiz
« on: March 15, 2011, 11:02:31 AM »
Hey guys. Here is a little quiz I made for countries of the world.
I was giving the kids 2 points if they could guess just from the written clues and only one point if they got it with the flag. Hope it is of some use. Enjoy :P

Tiny typos:
Should be "koala" on the Australia slide.
Line on Spain slide should be either "They like to have a "siesta" here" or "They, like, have a "siesta" here" ^_^

And if you borrow this, don't forget to change the bit on the New Zealand slide about where the teacher is from, unless relevant.

Looks good!

Good job... just watch your typo's.

Nice to see a fellow NZer contributing to the boards. Welcome!

This is great!

Just a couple of things though - Nothern Ireland is part of The UK, not England. Also, you've used the British flag next to 'England'. They're different. Thanks!

A koala is not a bear. It is a marsupial, but that takes a little bit of explaining. Best just to say koala.

But the game/quiz concept is sound. Thanks

Forgive my pedantry, but...

"Bagpipes" should be one word; not "bag pipes".

Scottish people generally drink whisky, not whiskey.

Salsa isn't Spanish.

It's a great PPT by the way!
