Attached is a ppt with 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' embedded, the ppt is timed to change with the lyrics. Nabbed from this site but I have modified the font and pictures on most slides.
I use this as a nunchi/pop up game. Students have to pick one of the following words (and write it down, so it's harder to change):
Santa Claus
coming
better
good
They have to stand up when they first hear their word, and sit down the next time, then stand up again etc. The students left standing at the end win a prize / candy / stamp / whatever. The winning word is 'better.'
Also attached is a step by step guide to making a simple pop up Christmas Card. All that's needed is A4 paper, scissors, glue, and markers for decoration. My school is VERY limited when it comes to craft activities but we always have paper and the kids usually have markers.
** Note - I changed the PPT for the card as it wasn't great, new and improved version up now. Edit the last slide with a card of your own. ***
