This is wonderful.   I'm having a trouble getting the answer to pop up. Maybe I missed a direction.   When I click on B and the new page pops up showing the question and the central picture box. What do i press to show the answer?   I cant see a skull or question mark.

Press the spacebar or right arrow key. I disabled mouse clicks so you don't accidentally go to the next slide.

I have updated this game since I have learned more about PowerPoint. I didn't change much of the game, but I made it much easier to make, play, and share. I hope people will use and share it more now!

Thanks! But sorry, I don't feel like taking the time to add more questions to this game. If you'd like a game with many questions, check out my Mario Kart Board Game in which you can add up to 78 questions.

This looks amazing! I love the design and all the detail you put into this. I'm running Powerpoint 2007, and the sound worked for me, although was computer was really sluggish in the transitions and loading of slides. (But that's my POS computer more than this PPT.) Great work!

No, it was the PPT. The scoreboard takes a really powerful computer to run well. Try downloading the new "Lite" version, which doesn't have the scoreboard and I optimized it for older computers. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry. Where is the lite file? i downloaded the 07 one. also. downloaded the font but the firs slide, the font on the left doesnt match the one on the right. how do i properly install it. when i click the font on the left. it does say supermariowii - font......

I got rid of "Lite" and "Deluxe" for this new version because you don't need to use the scoreboard if you don't want to. If you are using Windows 7, just double click the file and click install. If you are using Windows XP, follow the instructions here.

Hey, This game is great, I'll be using it for sure. One quick question, how can I change mix up the rewards, so that number 7 doesn't always produce the same rewards. Should I move the question boxes on the main slide? Or should I change the slide order somewhere?

I'm sorry, I don't fully understand your question, particularly "number 7". But if you are looking to mix up the rewards you can do that in two different ways.

1. Switch the hyperlinks on the question marks of 2 different slides.
2. There are hidden slides at the end of the PPT that have all of the rewards. Some you can't see, but you can read the notes as to which ones they are. Drag your mouse so that you select the box, item, and Mario pictures underneath the slide as well. There are pictures underneath other pictures, so just clicking them to select them won't be enough. Then copy and paste them onto the reward slide.

Because the slides are all hyperlinked changing the slide order won't change anything. I hope this answeers your question

This might be a really stupid questions, but what does "freeze" do? Is it similar to the star in that you can not gain or lose points for the next round?

Star is you can't lose points, but you can still gain them. Freeze is you can't lose or gain points. That team has to skip a round. A team can choose to freeze the winning team so they can't get more points the next round, but other teams can't steal points from them either. I had a team win the game because they were frozen on the last question and Koopa erased all of the other teams' points.

The P-button thing does not work for me. It shows the animation but then nothing happens. The annotation says it's supposed to force a team to choose faster but how is it supposed to work? I think some of the sounds are not working. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me or it's designed that way, but usually with bomb games you pick a block, answer the question, and then the block disappears once you go back to the question menu. For some reason this game does not do that. The blocks remain.

I am really confused about what could cause the problems you are having. A sound should play after the animation that is like a countdown. And the yellow blocks with letters should disappear and you will see brown blocks. What version of Windows and PowerPoint are you using?
