I borrowed this game from another poster, and it turned out great. I had a lot of fun with the kids.

“Wolf, Wolf. What time is it?” Game:
Kids walk in a line behind the 'wolf', chanting "WOLF, WOLF, WHAT'S THE TIME?" the wolf gives random times "it's 1 o'clock, it's 5 o'clock..." etc. Whatever time. But then, at some point, the wolf yells "it's DINNER TIME!" and he turns around and tries to catch someone! Whoever is caught then becomes the wolf, and you start again.
If the kids aren't running because they're having too much fun being caught, I give points for NOT being caught, and then reward the person with the most points at the end of the game (which is whenever you want it to be).
This is better as an outdoor game if you have lots of students.

I  got  given this template  by  my  Co teacher  and edited  it  for this unit. THe Ss are to  choose  a combination  of  letter and  number (D40) the 40 denotes  their  alotted  points. If the slide  has  a question and  they  answer  correctly, thy  get the points, if the slide has  Monstors  or  a Tsunami the Ss get   negative points. eg If  they  choose C50 and  the slide has  Monstors they  get - 50 points.

I also used the wolf game in my class and the students loved it. My only problem was that some students kept being caught, so they had a few turns at being the wolf, which made other students angry because they wanted to be wolf. I ended up having to bring in a rule that you may only be wolf once in the game.

It's annoying when co teachers say things aren't suitable, I don't nit pick the spelling and grammar mistakes they make in their work and when they tell me something is unsuitable I laugh inside.

Does anyone know ways to use mini-clocks in the classroom? My CT ordered a box of clocks for the students (enough for 1 per group of 3-4Ss) plus one large clock for us. But, I don't know how to incorporate it besides just saying a time and having the students set the clock (and I don't think it will be much of a competition since they all seem pretty familiar with 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock....)

My co-teacher and I did this in class today.  Before you hand out the clocks, we rang a bell.  When they hear the bell they have to stop touching their clocks.  Hands up!  Demostrate and do it with your class a few times.(Students who were still playing with their clocks had to pick up trash after class)

I had the students ask me "What time it is?  I said " 12 o'clock" etc.  To make it fun, have the kids try to do it really fast.   Who is the fastest?  Then make it harder 9:52, etc.  If they know half past, quarter use that as well.  It turned out to be a lot of fun.

Here's a ppt I just finished.  I'm really kinda proud of it.  I put a bit of work into it.  Although, I'm sure if it wasn't for having my Microsoft programs in Korea it would have been much easier.  Anyway, you can use it to review the numbers 1-12, go over the key phrases for the lesson

At the end, there's a scramble game for the students.  Hope it's helpful!
