I decided to do an intro to the lesson on hobbies and social activities. So I downloaded some material/ppts from here that were posted by other teachers on hobbies. I will post them after I have a look at them.

I found some lessons to practice "which do you prefer". I haven't changed them to suit my lesson as I will be practicing them next week only. I've attached a template where they can make their own logo for their club (stolen from the hunger games lesson).

Your lesson is brilliant and seems well thought out. Thank you for sharing! I hope I can come up with something as stellar. 

I'm going to use these as a bingo activity in my class. Theyre meant for a hobby lesson but I'm going to use the, anyway even though some of them don't qualify as club activities. You don't really have to use the ppt with the bingo templates.

Here's a cryptogram for Into the Conversation. I watched the video first and then displayed the puzzle, asking the class what the first line is by Taeho (Are you Hana?) so they have more letters to start with. You may need to explain the concept of each number representing a letter of the alphabet.

It's slightly different from the script, mainly to get the letters q and z in there. I had already brainstormed types of music, making sure I added jazz if the students didn't, so I could point it out during/after completion of the puzzle. I'd suggest groups of four for this activity.

Here's what I have for Part 2 of Lesson 1.

Review Preferences
Wants VS Need: 3 parts, pair work, group work, pair work.
I didn't want to continue drilling preferences because my students understand it so this lesson is more to do with Wants and Needs.
Say it right.

If possible, print task 1 on one side of the paper and task 3 on the back (2 copies per sheet to save paper).
If you don't know how to print things like that then ask a co-worker, or just print them separately and use more paper.

There is also a lesson plan. On the lesson plan is another activity for making a poster at the end of the class. I might do that as a review on another day as I think I will run out of time to do it in this lesson.

Pokemon Bomb Game. Focuses on "Which do you prefer?"

Having fantastic fun with this in lieu of Listen & Speak 1 C.  It's a logic puzzle requiring "Which do you prefer A or B?" as its only question.

This is what I did for Work Together, since making posters takes forever.
