This is part one of the lesson for Listen and Speak 1.

Lesson 1: I introduced the lesson by playing "the very hungry catepilar" by Eric Carle.
The book is for Kindy and Elementary but I used it to discuss/review 1. Days of the week 2. Foods/Fruit 3. Healthy and unhealthy foods. 4. Adverbs of frequency - for example "on Monday's", "Once a week", "every day" "somtimes" and so on.

Lesson 2:Introducing adverbs of frequency in detail. The doing completing the Listen and speak 1. ( I got the ppt from another waygook memeber, it isn't mine)

Hey guys,

So I've used the same lesson, "frequency", above to talk about adverbs of frequency.

I've just re-styled the powerpoint as it was a bit plain for my liking.

I've also added the table to print out for the students to do the exercise.

For the sentence exercise i'm just going to hand out blank paper.

Thanks to the original poster

Thanks for you post lockstock... looks really well thought out.

Here's another one I found on here. Don't know the original poster. Much better than the one I posted initially (also found on waygook).

Here are my worksheets for this lesson.  I teach very big mixed level classes without much help from my co-t, so I've structured them to accommodate different levels and so everyone at least has a fighting chance of understanding what's going on. As students finish, they can get up and collect the word game I created on discovery.com to fill the last few minutes of class.

Here are a couple of worksheets that I double-sided for a supplementary handout.

For the chart we filled in the gaps together, using almost always and almost never where applicable.

Due to time constraints, I had to teach all of lesson 7's listen and speak in one lesson -_- so this is just a bare ppt but hopefully its useful to someone.

Focuses on key expressions:

"How often.."
"I hope..."

Mystery Box Game reviewing Lesson 7. Mostly goes over "How often do you ____". Feel free to edit the questions, my kids found them pretty easy. I used this as a review before their test.
