Hello,

Since there is nothing for this lesson I thought I would brainstorm a few ideas. My co T and I sped through the textbook and are already here.

Anyways, a great song that goes along with the theme of "worries" is Hakuna Matata from the Lion King.  We will have them listen to the song, there are versions with Korean Subtitles on youtube.

The students can initially read the text, and then perform short skits for each scene (for high learners) for lower learners, just reading and emphasizing words properly (readers theatre).

After each scene students can brainstorm solutions to each of the problems in small groups.

Students in small groups can be given poster paper and draw their own Worry Tree, including their own personal worries and their own solutions, as well as animals, friends, whatever they would like to add.

They can also create their own Scene to add to the story.  I was thinking in a comic book style format.  That way they are writing speech bubbles and also get to be creative and make something they can be proud of.

We are starting this lesson today so I haven't done any of these yet, I'll let you know how it goes though.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!
