This is a thread for any lesson material for Ji Hak Sa Middle School English 2 (2013 Edition) Lesson 4: The Father of Tonj.  Please share your contributions here. You're all probably done with Part 1 of lesson 4, bit here's mine anyway:

1) Start with doing 2 mini roleplays with CT. Students have to fill in the blanks on the PPT 
    afterwards to introduce target phrase.
2) Ask volunteers to make senetences for the "Big Sister/Little sister" pictures
3) Do the book.
4) Activity: Students in groups of 4. Give each paper/mini whiteboards.
    Groups choose one of the pics and write a sentence for the picture, ie for #1: "What
    do you think about having Bibimbab?" Ask random groups to read out their sentences. 
    Then have the pictures fly off, untill last one remains.
5) Points given as follows: If they chose the: first picture that flies off = 0
                                                                 2nd                               = 1
                                                                 3rd                                = 2
                                                                 last picture                     = 3
6) Btw the pictures for #5 are: Jeju-do, Gyeongbukgung palace, Everland, Seoul tower

Ok, so I changed the activity...and it works better.

1) Students work in pairs...give each pair a paper to write their sentences on (attached).
2) Have them write their sentence on the paper.
3) Everyone stands up. Go through the 4 pics, asking those who chose the pics, read out
    their sentences as a group.
4) Then have the pics fly off, one by one. After students' pictures fly off the sit down.
5) Last students standing get points/checks or whatever reward system you use.

Here is a  review game covering chapters 3 and 4 that I put together, using the Mario Bomb Game template I found on Waygook a long time ago. Thanks to whoever made that!

My middle school boys love this; I use it as a fun pre-test review.

Listen and Speak 2

Lesson focussed on the students using "I think" and "In my opinion" The free point shoot out was a game I found on another thread (thanks) and I ask the students a question based on the general topic listed. I wrote "I think" and "In my opinion" on the board and point to either one for them to use. I had a box and a ball for this game. I split the class in two and asked 2 students from each to line up and try. They get 2 topic questions before swapping.

Cowboy game again was template I adapted for this class. Students liked calling each other out which was funny.
