This is a thread for any lesson material for Ji Hak Sa Middle School English 2 (2013 Edition) Lesson 7: What Do We See in Traditional Korean Art? Please share your contributions here. What I'm doing for Listen and Speak 2:
1) Introduce Key phrases with PPT
- a roleplay with my CT - students listen to us and have to fill in the gaps on
the PPT
- Unscramble the sentences to figure out today's key phrases
2) Do the book: Pg 159A&B, Pg 162B
3) Team Bingo
a)Students play in teams of 4. Each team gets 4 bingo sheets (1per person)
b)Teacher picks a student number and asks that student one of the questions on the
Bingo PPT (ie. What's your favorite subject?)
c)Student answers (ie. My favorite subject is Math), picks another student number
from the bag, and asks that student a question.
d)End the game after 15 questions have been asked (or there is 5 minutes left before
the bell rings)
e)Teams count how many BINGOS they have collectively. Team with the highest
number, wins.

Here are my resources for Lesson 7. The favorite chart lets the students ask and answer their favorite categories and write down their friend's answers. Also there is a minecraft review game for Lessons 6-7.

My school wants me to use the book as a reference but not really teach from it. So for this lesson I focused on "You should" and "You shouldn't." I also put a focus on cultural etiquette. There is a PPT with a few videos and a worksheet that goes along with it. Some slides are specific to my city so change them up to make it your own. Hope it helps a little!

This one was a focus on the senses. This was an easy lesson for lower level students. The warmup is a scary VR video of the IT sewer. There are other videos, and sound clips. I also brought four items in a paper cups covered with paper towels that they could pass around and smell. I used coffee, lemon, kimchi, and garlic. Overall interesting and fun lesson!
