Here are the materials I will be using for this chapter. I am usually the first teacher at my school to start the new chapter so my intro ppt just explains the phrases in the listening/talking sections. The game is a random trivia quiz where the groups write the answers on a piece of paper. You will need to change question #1 and #4.

The beginning game is a warm-up for the lesson. The picture is on a timer. Students have 10 seconds to see the picture. Afterwards, there is a question regarding the picture.

Teach 'Do you remember?' then in groups the students will then create 2 questions together from a picture I give them. The group will ask the students the questions to the other groups and who ever has the right answer with receive a point.

Lesson 5 was a little short so I added Andrew Reagan's story, Bubble Gum Bobby.

This is a review game I made for reviewing the speaking section plus PPT's I did with the student for 2 weeks including my own intro to the class. The PPT's I did I found off of waygook so thanks to the fellow teachers who shared them on here.

Lesson 5 Speak - I adapted from a few other contributers to make my powerpoint so thank you so much for that. Warmup starts with a Hidden Picture game of some of lesson 5's vocabulary: allowance, stair, hold out, neighbor, and memory.
Short explanation of Do you remember ____? then a practice where teacher elicits question and answer from the picture and phrase. Speak A from textbook then Mission picture is provided.

Speak B key expressions and explanation then a little practice
Speak B from textbook then Step Up page with words to help my students to talk about their special someone.

Fun with Speaking game has similar rules to the one in the textbook but with different photos. Coteacher wanted to emphasizing the grammar point "___ was +ing" so students focus on writing the questions then answering either by speaking the answer.

Memory game is an extended version of the other memory game that lianhicks provided. Thank you again for the inspiration.

Thank you woodsworth English.

I spend three days on four pages, so I had a lot to plan.  Repeating the same sentences over and over again isn't fun for the kids, but my crazy 2nd graders managed to get through it.

1st:  I took bits of ppts from previous posts, introduced the target language, then we played a memory challenge game from James Teacher.  idk, I found it in the game section.  It's called memory challenge.

2nd:  We did a sort of scattergories.  I did it different for my two classes.  The first, I had them get into small groups and write down as many items as they could think of that they may need on a deserted island.  I gave them 5 minutes.  Then we went around the room and said "Don't forget to bring (item)" and if another group had it everyone crossed it out.  That ended up being a bit much so the next class my co teacher suggested I do a blank bingo card for them to fill.  If another group had that same item it counted as a bingo square and the first to get five in a row won.  That was questionable.  Next time I would probably tell them to list only 10 items.

3rd: I had a coded message with sentences from the text.  It is fairly easy to explain without knowing any Korean.  A few would get it and then share how to work it out.  You go to the letter in the alphabet and go 3/5/4 letters to the right and then write down that letter.  After that we did a Mad Lib.  My ss really seemed to enjoy this.

I made a worksheet for the real-life scene on pg 87.  Basically play the tape and get them to unscramble the sentences with their books closed.  We are going to practice the dialogue afterwards.

I made a speaking worksheet.  Thank you to the other waygook who gave me the idea in their powerpoint. ;)  I'm posting both the slide I will use and the worksheet.

"Do you remember?" - Jack Johnson song
Gap fill and talked through what the song is about. Asked students to circle all of the past tense verbs.

Used this really cute video made by a fellow waygook in Korea and her middle school girls.

Used this activity as a warmup.

Scattegories

Used the idea of Scattegories from hilgurl402 (thanks!) and adapted a ppt to suit the key expressions.

Just some introductory ppts and a pass the ball game. I usually play pass the ball like trash ball/basketball. I have two balls and divide the class in half/two teams. The two people who have the ball when the music stops say the question and answer (so it is like a small dialogue) and then they get to shoot their balls to try to make points. I bring the trashcan/box pretty close to them to shoot because it can be kinda difficult.

Over two weeks, I cover the listen and speak pages in the textbook. The first week, I do listening exercises along with a short activity. The second week, I do the Speak station and the Real-Life Scene and I usually have time for a longer activity. Both weeks are included in one PPT. I have attached the PPT and the worksheets I used. Thank you to the previous posters for their material.
I did KakaoTalk MadLibs for the first class. They have to write their answers on side 1 and then write their friend's answers on side 2. I also attached a fill in the blanks worksheet for the song Never Forget. Play the song and let the students try to fill in the missing lyrics. I finished the class with a game of bingo. They have to write the words in a random order on their bingo sheet and then cross them off as I call them out. They have to get 4 lines to win.
