I used the language:
-I wonder how tall the Eiffel Tower is.
-Are you sure about that?

For the dialogue they have to make with their friend they get points if they chose the right answer.  They take turns for each slide being person A or B.
The team game is just a fun guessing game.  You might not reach this far depending on how long the dialogues take.

I have also attached a blazing pens game and a quiz game.  They were originally used for my elementary Grd 6 students but can be used here, depending on the level of your students.
I used them in my second period.

I used the 'real or fake' pictures as a warmup, drilling the 'Are you sure about that?' expression. Not sure where I found the pics oringinally on waygook

Part A - start listening and go through the numbers practice section (taken from Leo Fuchigami's Jobs lesson). The writing race and speaking race usually go down very well. Then go over the 'I wonder...' section, and on to the Price is Right game (also stolen from the depths of waygook.' This is always a hit. Have them write their price guesses on mini whiteboards. With the higher level classes I'm always strict about having them pronounce the numbers before they get points.

Part B - review numbers, go over the 'I don't know...' part, and listening up to Focus In. Practice some comparatives. For the game, we'll be doing a review version of apples to apples / cards against humanity (originally from pjblake http://www.waygook.org/index.php?topic=61572.0). The sentence cards are based on grammar points from chapters 6, 8 and 10, as well as some random cards just for fun. Rules are in the 10B PPT

There's also a quiz at the end of the PPT, if there's time to kill.

Part C -   review, do the worksheet, and finish off any listening. This should be last class before final exams, so we'll play Mystery Box (another template than never fails no matter how many times I use it). For classes that didn't do the quiz in part B, we might do it this class.

I used this for the second week of teaching Lesson 10. 

The textbook touches on abbreviations, so I used this opportunity to teach about the different kinds of abbreviations and commonly used ones.  I start off with a tongue twister.  Then, I teach about abbreviation/acronym/initialism with examples.  Before the game, I went over one character abbreviations with examples on the board.  For the game, I had the class against myself.  One student stood to select a letter, but everyone could help him guess.

Overall, it was a good lesson.  Most of the students participated in guessing what the letters stood for.  I gave out a lot of hints, but students knew more than I thought.  The higher level students carried the class, though.
