My coteacher recently informed me that she will be taking all of my classes after this week to prepare students for the midterms at the end of this month.  So I have to cram lesson 3 into one class period.  Here is what I put together.  Some of it is mine, most is borrowed.

Here's my pptx that I put together last night. It's not perfect but I like it. It uses all of the key phrases as well as incorporating some from the past into the intro. The graphics mostly come from mycutegraphics.com. I will be starting to work on a worksheet soon but no guarantees. Hope you enjoy it.

Here is an Avengers themed powerpoint, works well with boys and girls. I found adding outcomes to the conversations (even when minor) seem to help the students understand the vocabulary. Enjoy.

Very impressive, Kyle! Looks like a lot of time was put into it.  Thanks for posting.  My final two second grade classes this week will be lucky enough to enjoy it.

Hi guys,
This is a simple activity where the students match "I don't know how to (verb)" to the rest of the sentence. You may create new verbs and endings. E.g. Student A might have "I don't know to buy" to Student B might have "an air ticket to Australia". Once students have found their partners, they must come to you in pairs and express the phrase without looking at it.

Basically, I laminated the sheets and then cut them up into strips. Make sure you have enough for the number of students in your class.

It got the kids mingling and moving about so it was a nice change as oppose to just sitting on their seats the whole time. Hope you enjoy it.

I used the ideas here, and adapted them a little to suit my teaching style. Here you will find my lesson plan and the slideshow to go with it - hope it is helpful :)
