Basic board game using sunny, cloudy, hot, cold, windy, rainy, and snowing. The arrows are go back or go forward and the number of spaces.

Doraemon game for the lesson.

this is a small ppt I made for a different book but still works. they tell you how's the weather, blah blah click through...and there is a matching game as well, which they enjoyed. each group got to pick 2 numbers, as my students sit at round tables.

1. a good song to use as motivation or to replace the one in the book. we teach them this then play "london bridge is falling down" with the class. the 2 teachers makes a "bridge" and everyone sings the song together. when the song ends, the teachers catch the student right underneath them and ask him/her "how's the weather?" the student's response becomes the lyrics for the next round of the game.

2. bomb game using a template found on waygook

A card guessing game.  Students guess what card is next, using the following conversation:

A: How's the weather.
B: It's __________.

If they are right, they keep the card. 
If they are wrong, they put it at the bottom of the deck
