1. Unlock the bank game
- Students listen to the times and remember the corresponding number sequence.
- If they guess the combination correctly they open the bank to a cool GIF.

2. Blank clock activity.
- Students ask "what's the time?"
-teacher responds and students draw the time on their blank clocks.

(10 minutes in total)

2. Fix the time
-Students look at the sentence and the clock and rewrite the time according to the clock.
-8 sentences

A conversation review activity for the key phrases
>what time is it?
> It's hour minute.
>It's time for...
>It's time to...
Print the 3 hidden slides in the PPT, split the class into 3 groups, with each group member receiving a copy of one of the 3 worksheets.
E.g. Group 1 worksheet 1, Group 2 worksheet 2, G3W3.
Students walk around asking "What time is it?"in order to fill in the blanks.
The picture match up is meant to indicate completion of the task, and to get students back to their desks when they've collected all the necessary information.

The second attachment is a picture code breaker modified from another users post (I'm sorry, I can't find that original post). An answer sheet is provided on the last slide, and sentences are colour coded to help students to identify certain grammatical patterns.
Some of my students still struggle with verb and noun combinations.

The final attachment is a pocket book with the majority of time reference material students would need to know during the majority of their elementary and middle school education.

1. Secret message:
-Students read the time and find the matching clock.
-the clock has a correlating letter that they fill in the 'secret message box'
-the answer is - It's time for "a video".
-I show them a funny minute long clip after.

2. LIAR LIAR: Detective game
-My classes have 32 students but can easily be adapted for any size.
-Each student gets a sheet of paper with all the times on (30 different times)
-Each student also each get's a card with a time on.
-2 out of the 32 students will get a "LIAR" card.
-Students walk around and ask "What time is it?"
-Students (keeping their card a secret) answer with the time on their card.
- When student1 asks student2 the time, student1 then writes student2's name next to the time they said.
- LIAR students must lie about a time.
-If a student notices two names next to the same time, they know one person is the liar.
-When 2 liars are found the game is over.

*All materials in worksheet
