Here is a great song for this lesson.

I highly recommend this song!!! My kids are completely obsessed. They ask to do it every class, and they want to do it multiple times. They even asked to sing it again and again and again! :)

3.3.4 Story Time

This is actually a worksheet to help the kids with the script. Their English is pretty low but I found that this helps not only the kids who can read, but gives the others a chance to write it out in Hangul. My CT wanted them to memorize it and it went very poorly before these, so I hope it helps you just as much.

So for the Check-up lesson (lesson 4 period 5) I did not follow the textbook. If anybody else is stuck having to do this lesson, here is a good suggestion for you!

I combined:
- the song "open shut them",
-the Rock, paper, scissors game posted both posted by "milkman" as well as
-the memory game posted by "Natz". Thanks to both of you for posting such fun activities.

It worked so well for this lesson and helped even the low-level students with the key expressions through lots of repetition. They had a blast and I have +/- 23 students in each of my gr.3 classes.

For bigger classes like mine I suggest doing team teaching where the co-teacher takes half the class and I take the other half, especially for the Rock, paper, scissors game. I also suggest demonstrating the instructions with your co-teacher after explaining with the PPT. Use students who understand after the first time, it works for other ss to visually see what they should do.

Wheel of Fortune

The scoreboard doesn't work, so you must write the points on the board.
