Expectations and excuses lesson.  In the middle it is a slap game.  Print off the phrases and tape them up on the chalk board. Two students from different teams come up and first one to slap the correct phrase wins a point.

Then I did the Tiffany role play.  Make it more fun by printing off pictures of Tiffany and Im Yoona from Girls Generation to wear as masks.  For higher level students, put blanks in the role play and let them make it their own.

I made a few games for this lesson as I break up the listen and talk section into two days.

The "What are you expected to do.docx" is a group of nine picture. I break the class into groups to talk about what is expected of them to do for each picture. The group then shares their thoughts with the class. I have numbers written on popsicle sticks and they group leader pick a stick to determine which picture their group will share with the class.

The Connect Four game and the flick coin game are for Talk 2.

Here is also a "Telepathy" PPT for "Talk 2".

Prezis and materials for the Conversation Zone and Real-Life Zone sections of the textbook. Be sure to have a few short videos handy for the end of Part B.
