Here are my materials for a lesson on ordering food. I did this with my first graders last semester and it went pretty good. After, the ppt, I put students into pairs so that they could practice ordering food with the menus I provided. After giving them some time to practice on their own, I asked for volunteers to do a role play in front of others. I have a reward system in the class, so whenever I tell them that those who volunteer will get rewarded, I'm never short of volunteers  :)
