Here's another game that was a big hit with my 3rd graders in this chapter.

I just called it a "Rock Paper Scissors" game.
First, have the kids pull out those 6 cards that are on page 35 in the back of their book. Then, have the studens walk around the classroom, meet someone, and play rock paper scissors with that person. The winner asks the loser "Do you have a ______?" and chooses one of the 6 objects. If the losing student has that card, they must answer "Yes, I do" and give one of that card over to the winning student. Otherwise, they answer "No, I don't" and they don't have to give up a card.

The students who collect the most number of cards at the end of the game are the winners (I gave them 5 minutes, and then gave a stamp to anyone who had 8 or more cards at the end).

The attached PPT doesn't show a game explanation, I only used it to practice the dialogue with them before the game.

Here's a picture reveal/guessing game! You can play in groups or individually/as a class. In my case, I played individually by picking a number from a cup. The student who corresponds with that number must stand up and choose one letter on the ppt slide and then try to guess what the picture is using the key phrase "Do you have a(n) _____?" If the student is correct, I move to the next slide where we read the sentences together as a class. If the student is wrong, then I choose another number and keep going until someone can correctly guess the picture.

I don't have the time to sort through everything I took/modified from other posters, so if some material is from you, thank you and sorry for reposting. =]

This whole thing takes about 5 to 10 minutes and is a good wrap-up

The class is divided into 4 teams.

The team selects an image by asking a question. "Do you have a green crayon?"

Other classmates must say "Yes, I do."

The team asks once more.

Other classmates must say "No, I don't."

Teacher clicks the letter associated with the image. Award points as they appear.

Here is a Chase the Vocab using the words from this lesson. I didn't get to use it in my classes because my teacher prolonged the the speak & play activity :(
Hopefully someone else can put this to good use.

I also used this little video at the beginning of class. This kids really liked it and allof my classes asked if they could watch it again.

My 3rd graders loved this video. I highly recommend using it as a motivation or reinforcement of the key expressions. So fun.

Basic intro ppt and pass the ball game. The mystery ball game uses the Cheonjae multi-colored questions mark bags where students put each item in their bag. Students play rock scissor paper. The winner asks "Do you have a ____?" Loser asks "Yes I do. I have a  _____" and give the item to the winner. The student with the most items is the winner. You can do this game using any of the items in your classrooms.

This is an Activity that can be used as a Writing Task or in the Check Up section.

Each student receives a Handout and has to look inside of their own pencil case. They then draw the items that they have in their pencil case onto the page and write the applicable words.

I hope it helps!

Go Fish Cards for the Speaking Activity.
Non-editable (sorry!)

I made enough cards for 6 groups, so you would have to print this Document 6 times (or according to how many groups you have in your class).

This Activity take a bit more prep work, but it's really fun and the kids enjoy it!

Another game - What's in the box?

Take an empty box and put items (pencil, scissors, glue stick, tape, etc.) inside. My students loved shaking the box and trying to guess based on the sounds they heard. I would recommend picking 7-10 items. I threw in a stapler and a small book to make the game a bit more difficult.
