My review worksheet for Lesson 11 :~)

Here are a few things from my open class for this lesson.  Hope they help you in some way!

1.  Powerpoint - basic vocab review as well as game instructions.

3.  Pen Pal Instructions - The pen pal activity is something I designed to try to give the students a meaningful way to write in English as opposed to the really boring/generic activities the textbook provides.  They can be tough for younger students, but my CT is really supportive and helps out with them.  I think they're really good for the kids, even if it's just exposing them to the idea that you can use English for a real and sensible purpose.

Variation of Whose Bob Game using the key expressions & actions from this lesson.

My kids LOVED this game & it involves no prep. Played it on 2nd day and will play it again as they all (including my co) requested it! Gets the kids involved with actions, speaking & laughing.

Students all sit in a big circle. Choose one student to be the detective. The detective must leave the room. While the detective is out, choose an "Action Captain". This student will be in charge of leading the class. Without sound, the Action Captain must act out key expressions from this lesson - eating, sleeping, dancing, singing, cooking etc. It's best if you are Action Captain first round to show the kids how to play. All of the other students must copy the Action Captains every move.

When that is all sorted, the detective comes back into the room, and will stand in the middle of the circle and try to find out who the Action Captain is. When they think they know, they ask one student "What are you doing?". The student will answer whatever they are doing at that moment, eg "I'm singing." The detective can guess up to 3 times. If they can find the Action Captain, great!
I didn't even use any points or anything. They loved it. Have fun :)

I made a "What's behind" game for this lesson using Kakao characters.

I combined two of the powerpoints I found and added a part in the middle to better explain how to form the sentences.  This makes for a good intro to the topic, it's slightly longer than some of the other ones available and addresses he/she/they.  Thanks to the original posters.

Somebody on here (can't remember who, but bless you) posted a game template for pop-up pirate. I recently bought a pop-up pirate game at Lotte Mart for about 10,000 Won and decided to use said person's template with the material from this lesson. haven't tried it out with my 4th graders yet, but I plan to in the next few days. I think they're really going to enjoy it.
