Speed Game
« on: April 11, 2014, 03:33:08 PM »
Here is a speed game that I made today.  I followed someone else's template but the images are new.  Enjoy!

Edit: The rabbit slide is spelled incorrectly.  Just a heads up.  One too many i's.

This looks like a fun game and very similar to many other games I've played with my classes, but I'm not exactly sure how your version of the game works. Are you going from group to group and giving them 2 minutes to make 4 things about the picture? Or are you going student to student making them name something about it or what?

Thanks for another version of this game! I can always use more speed game slides.

metsubo: you have students sitting at the front of the classroom who can't see the screen. The other students can see the screen and have to describe the word without saying the word. The students in the front have to guess the word. They have 2 minutes to guess as many words as possible.

You can also have them divided into groups and then have one student describe the word to their team.  Doing as many words as they can in 2 minutes.

I have played it both ways.  The kids love it.  They always request we play it.  I know there are other games like it but it just takes so long to create these games and the slides, so posting them for others to use makes sense.

Enjoy!  :D
