I'm teaching Chapter 6 as a 3 part lesson, with parts 2 and 3 using the Simpsons episode "Who Shot Mr. Burns?"

You beat me to the video links! I tried posting avi./srt. files of the episode, but this website wouldn't accept the srt. files.  As my files are on my work computer, I'll try to upload them again tomorrow.

go to ixconverter and you can convert the youtube files to mp4 or avi.  That's what i do since our internet connections in the classrooms suck.  After that just embed the file into a picture or whatever you want.

The Simpson episode worked great, thanks a bundle! I only did the portion pertaining to the video as we covered the L&T 1 lesson last week.
Rather than printing the worksheet for my lower level kids though, I put the questions into a PPT. Give a try if in a pinch. I also separated the Word Doc so you can double the printing pages per sheet.

 Well I don't know that it's necessary to watch both but for the sake of conclusion I plan to watch the second part next week. You're right of course, the episodes are too long for one class. I did a brief intro of vocabulary and went right into the episode cued after the opening credits. We then discussed motives and suspects before the bell rang. Not much of a lesson really but for my low level it's the most I can hope for. Next week we'll continue and discuss theories from each group (class divided into groups of 5 or 6) then watch the second part.
Hope you find it useful. Many students have seen the episode but they still enjoy it very much.
