Head shoulders knees and toes with U2, pretty awesome video...

I like to imagine that Bush being constantly out of sync is an intentional joke and not just shoddy animating. Thanks for posting the video. I had that exact clip in mind when I was preparing for this unit.

I think so, but overall a very funny video. My older students in camp understood why it was funny but my younger ones don't, so only I am humored during this lesson...lol.

For the Little Red Riding Hood story, I made a mini-book. I let them fill in some words, using the dialogue from the story and then had them draw the picture. It turned out really well and there were some definite artists in the class.
I'll also link the Youtube video on how to cut and fold the mini-book.
Hope it works out well for your class!

Here is a dice game I'm using from one of the old threads on this lesson, so thanks to whoever came up with it.
-Student are split into 2 teams and each teams gets a turn to choose a letter, answer a question and then roll the dice.
-The number on the dice corresponds with some body parts the student can draw on the whiteboard.
-First team to finish drawing their team body wins.

* I've  added the ppt i made using pictures from previous posts to suit my lesson and to practice before playing the dice game.

Flick the Clip game.

Students play in groups. One student flicks the clip, says whatever the picture prompts them to, and scores their points. The bomb = all students 0. I added a little twist. The picture of the card prompts them to draw a card out of a bag. The cards are on the last page of the ppt, you just have to print out one set for each group and stick them in a bag. The student who flicked the clip that landed on the card picture takes a card out of the bag without looking or showing it to the other players. That student then says the phrase "Stretch your legs." Out of the other students in the group, the last student to do the right action gets -2 points. You could probably play this game for anywhere from 10-20 minutes.

Doraemon body parts introduction. Teaches/reviews: eyes, head, shoulders, feet, arms, legs, hands, and ears. It also shows the difference between the singular and plural. I used the last slide to introduce the target phrases "Touch your..." and "Stretch your..." We practiced "Stretch your..." by doing stretches together as a class. I think it's a good way to start every class of this lesson since it gets their blood flowing :)

Here's a Sonic the Hedgehog game I adapted from another teacher.  It covers touch, stretch, arms, legs, feet/foot, hands, and shoulders.  You may have to keep track of the alphabet screen by hand, but everything else should work fine.  I don't have an English version of PowerPoint or I'd fix it myself.

Here's what I used for this lesson.

The script is for the 'Look and listen' and 'Listen and Repeat' parts of the first lesson. The textbook created it and I've had a CO check the Korean. I copied the Word Gap onto the back for a little extra practice.

Blank Bingo boards for them to fill in with the provided vocab. The stars are "service squares".

We also played *a lot* of Timo says. They really loved that one and it requires no prep. In the beginning I showed them the moves as well as said the instructions, but after everyone knew what was going on I stopped doing the movements because they were just mimicking me.  An additional level is to let students give the commands. They get a kick out of tricking their peers into being out and are quite good at it.

Another game they loved was drawing monsters/aliens. They drew slips of paper with body parts written on them from a bag and rolled a dice to see how many of that part to draw. On paper in groups was fun but they LOVED to come up and draw on the whiteboard at the front of the class.

We did the robot activity on page 57 and made a dancing game out of it. We made the masks a little different but they still work well. The ppt has instructions as well as a link for the song and the lyrics to go with it. I hope the kids have fun!

Pokemon RPS board game using vocabulary from this chapter and previous chapters.

Baskin Robbins 31 Reading Game: There's a grid of 31 words. The first student can choose to say either 1, 2, or 3 words. Then the next student must continue from where they left off, saying either 1, 2, or 3 words. The student who has to say the 31st word is out. Playing as a class tends to work better than playing in groups for my students, but you can try it that way.

I made a review worksheet for lessons 1-4.
Fill in the blanks dialogue and a word scramble at the bottom.
I had an extra class so I did this with a review team spelling game.
Hope this helps anyone who may have some extra classes!
