Changed this one from an old grade 3 ppt so it matches this book's target language.
There are two monster games at the end, if there is extra time you need to fill.

I created an individual monster drawing activity. It went over really, really well!
It's really simple. There are 10 "body parts" #1-10 and students each get a worksheet and a die. They start at #1, roll the dice, and then write that number down by #1... Then they do the same for 2-10. Once they have a number next to all the body parts, they draw their monster. . (it makes a lot of sense if you just look at the worksheet!)
They got really into it. It was cute and easy. Have fun!

Baymax (Big Hero 6) Board Game
- Reach the armored Baymax to win the game. Students should look at the body part and say "Touch your ____." Instructions can be found here:

Connect Four
- One side for pictures, one side for words. Students play against their partners to try and get four in a row. Each set of four in a row is one point. Students play until the whole board is filled.

1. Did connect 4 as another user posted, but added in a teacher demo version where I got the class to play against me. They'll spend ages deciding which counter goes where, so make it timely.
Used quite a lot of the resources in this thread and modified a couple. Will upload more when they're in a coherent order.

Naruto game with some cool pictures. Modifieid traditional naruto game so that it has a digital scoreboard at the bottom of each round.
If using the scoreboard: It will reset between rounds.
Only tested this once so let others know if there's any problems :)
In the box they can keep opening it, but there will be a bomb eventually. Makes it interesting when one team is miles behind. Kids loved this game, all credit goes to creator - SteMarty.
NOTE: ALSO NEEDS FONT (attached) INSTALLING.

I taught the vocab as a chant with actions to "head, shoulder, shoulders, arm, arms, hand, hands, leg, legs, foot, feet" which we'd go through each lesson, followed by where they listen to me and do what they heard.
4.4.1 LISTENING
- Comprehension and dialogue memory slides for the video.
- They loved Simon/Timo Says Game!
4.4.2 SPEAKING
- Edited a video from YouTube as motivation, they liked doing the actions.
- Again comprehension and dialogue memory slides for the video.
- The Whisper Game is good but there is a lot of organising. We had them lined up, eg in teams of 8, and numbers 2-8 turned away. Number 1 came to the front where they were shown one of the pictures (as on the end of the ppt). They whispered to the teacher to check they all knew what it was, then after "go" they whispered down the line. Student 8 shouted it and then the whole team did it. The fastest team to all do it won a point. Then student 8 goes to the front to become student number 1.
4.4.3 READING+WRITING
- Replacement Look and Say B with Mr Men and Little Misses
4.4.4 REVIEW
- Because I'm a Brit, showed them how British and North American pronunciation of /o/ is different.
- Turned the robot thing into a game: in groups of 4, each person takes it in turns to be the commander. Each turn they give a point to the robot who did the action they commanded fastest.

I made a 'Guess the action' game speaking activity for Period 2. Here's the PPT. One student stands outside the class and thinks of an action. The rest of the class is divided into teams and they have to talk and decide on an action that will match the student's. Each team displays their action and says the action. Then the student comes in and shows them the chosen action. The team that guesses correctly wins.
I also started the lesson off with this panda version of 'Head, shoulders, knees and toes', the song gets faster and faster and my students enjoyed trying to keep up.

4.1
Intro: guess the body part. I gave students some clues like "You need this to wear a backpack," "You need this to kick a ball," "You need this to wear a hat," etc. Game: just the simon says game from the book.
4.2
Review: see if students can remember the dialogue from previous lesson. Quickly do the "touch/stretch your _____" actions and have students guess what you're doing. Game: it's the whisper game from the book but I made some slides to explain the game.
