Here is a funny lesson and challenging.
I let the students just watch the video (there are absolutely no words in it!)
Then we talk about Janitor, sweeping, playing drums.
Then I show the drum kit, and go over those words.
Group them into groups of six or less. Give each group the sheet with 1,2 and 3, and the Section Labels, Sweeping, Playing Drums and Plays wooden blocks standing up (you do have to cut all this out beforehand)
Watch video again, and make certain that all groups have the 3 correct.
Then pass out the smaller sentence strips. For low levels, cut into groups of 3 with the numbers still attaced.
Show video once more.
Finally, show answers. Read aloud together! This is all done with lots of questions in the process, so they get to guess, and give their own answers to what happened.
PS...you may have to give your students permission to laugh, some of my classes were trying really hard to be quite and not laugh!
