Kindergarten, Grade 1 & 2 Fruits and vegetables
« on: May 23, 2014, 12:52:57 PM »
I made this powerpoint for the younger grades learning the vocab for fruits and veggies.

If you go through the powerpoint there's even a pass the ball game in there with a TWIST (two competing teams with Rock, paper, scissors included)! They went NUTS!

The intructions for the game are FULLY ANIMATED so there aren't a bunch of words on the screen. Enjoy let me know how it went!

I like the ppt, but I disagree with using Korean to teach English pronunciation. They need to properly learn at this stage so that no habits need to be broken later. Not trying to offend, as it looks like good work, but they are already bad enough as it is.

Really?
Oh well, my kids are doing fine with it, retaining the vocab more, and the teachers are loving it. So to each their own! ^_^
Just delete the things you disagree with

Awesome. The kids really loved the game! I am adding a code worksheet with vegetables and fruits. I am running this for an open class. Will let you know how it went!
