Soccer Bomb Game
« on: June 11, 2014, 08:39:10 PM »
Here's a football bomb game template just in time for the World Cup!

It's fairly straightforward:

- Click on a shirt to go through to a question. If it's correct, click on the ball to go through to a short video clip of a goal scoring opportunity. If their team scores, they get 1 point, otherwise they don't. If they get a red card, they lose all their points. And they lose 2 points for a yellow card.

-Click on the X to return to the main screen if they get a question wrong

- Click on the stadium to go back to the main screen after a clip

-Click on the ball on the penalty screen to choose your penalty taker

-Click on the World Cup for a victory sequence for the winners. (I get the winning team to come to the front to 'present' the trophy.)

Because of the clips, commentary and title sequence, the file size is far too large (167MB) to send via Facebook or Waygook, so click on the link below and expect a long download time!

Hope you and your kids enjoy it!

Power Point 2010
This is great. I love the videos and sounds. But anyone with Power Point 2010 is going to have troubles with this. The problem is that if you visit too many slides the selection screen resets. This will be the case for the penalty kicks – jersey 8, 10, and 22. So here is a fix for 2010. It looks long but only takes a few minutes.

Go to slide 36.
Copy the boot.
Go to slide 4.
Paste the boot.
Move the boot to Jersey 8.
Go to slide 36.
Right click the boot and edit the hyperlink to go to slide 4.

Go to slide 38.
Copy the boot.
Go to slide 4.
Paste the boot.
Move the boot to Jersey 10.
Go to slide 38.
Right click the boot and edit the hyperlink to go to slide 4.

Go to slide 50.
Copy the boot.
Go to slide 4.
Paste the boot.
Move the boot to Jersey 22.
Go to slide 50.
Right click the boot and edit the hyperlink to go to slide 4.

Go to slide 4.
Shrink the boots to a size smaller than the jersey (0.7 x 1.4).
In the selection pane, rename the boots – 8boot, 10boot, 22boot.
Animate the boots to disappear, setting their click as the trigger.( In the animation pane- right click- timing- set trigger as.)
Open the slide show and test the boots.
Move the boots to the back.

Now, you will return to the selection screen before the penalty kick. This will prevent the selection screen from resetting.

Great game, but my anti-Man. Utd. prejudice will stop me from ever using it.
