Pokemon Telepathy Game
« on: June 16, 2014, 06:25:19 PM »
Choose a Pokemon and write down the word/sentence next to them. On the next slide, a Pokemon will come out of the Pokeball! If it's the one you chose, you get a point. A lot of the Pokemon are from more recent generations, since the younger students recognize them more. But if you have older students, feel free to switch them out for some more "true" Pokemon ;) Simple, double-sided worksheet is attached.

At the end of the PowerPoint are detailed instructions on how to edit it. If these are not enough for you or you have any other questions, leave a message here or PM me. This game is entirely my own, except for the images (which were taken from the internet) and the telepathy concept in general.

Awesome! I love Pokemon, and this is well made! I don't know when I'll be able to use it (I teach key expressions, generally, and not vocabulary), but I hope to find an occasion to use it.

Thanks for the material!

You can use telepathy games for key expressions too :) Just use full sentences instead of words. The game is mainly to practice writing and spelling, though. So if your students don't need that, then I guess it's mostly just a bit of fun ^^

I used this with my students and it worked great, even for the students who normally don't participate. I had to make sure that they wrote things down BEFORE I switched to the next slide - I caught some students cheating!

Great template! My students really enjoyed it so I made another version with some new spare pokemon.
