Another review sheet plus an Omok game.

Omok is like tic tac toe. They have to use the correct expression and choose the appropriate answer to mark a box. If the question is "How are you?' They cannot choose a box with a color in it. Only a feeling. Answer box choices must match the question. If they get so many in row (up, down, across, diagonal) they win. You can decide how many you want them to have in a row.

The worksheet has a crossword and also a who am I sheet. I will describe the people and they have to draw and guess what person it is (i.e. jobs).

"Spelling Bee" game. Basically it's a Golden Bell quiz-esque game that focuses on spelling. This is to be used for the 2nd part of the review. Give each team 1 whiteboard. Make sure that every student gets a chance to write on the board. They should take turns after each question.

There are 3 rounds in this game.
Round 1: Unscramble the word
Round 2: Spell the picture
Round 3: Categories

For the categories round, I give the students one category (i.e. family, food, jobs) and they have to write as many words as they possibly can in 30 seconds or less that is related to said category. They get 1 point for every word spelled correctly.

Pretty simple and straight forward but, the kids really enjoyed it. Especially the last round because it allowed them to show off any other English they may know.

Musical Chairs

When the music stops, learners must find a chair to sit on, there must be one less chair than the number of students. The learner who does not have a chair must answer the question and is out. Remove another chair and continue until there is a winner.

Some review activities for lessons 1-4, since I've been doing two lessons per class.  A sleeping elephants for 1-2 & for 3-4 a ppt with a quick review, a shark fish (It's ____ / It's time for _____) and a not-quite telepathy game where each team writes one of four sentences then points are assigned.

Played the game in teams of 2 with 10W coins as a flick coin game, each team takes each half of the book. RPS, winner flicks the coin, say the dialogue between the 2 players of your team, then circle the box: 1 point. RPS again etc. The winning team is the first to say and circle all of their boxes. Game explained slides 12-16.

Also can play pass the ball if you have time left over.
