I changed 'other teacher' to 'The girlfriend' (as in the Teacher's girlfriend) and no one questioned the rationale.  He won't go without his girlfriend? Makes sense.

I've only tried it with my after school class, and they really enjoyed the presentation, but I did make the mistake of giving each of them the worksheet (12 students, i thought why not one each)... but in hindsight it should be done in small teams. A thought: Maybe teams of 4 if possible, as then you could get them to role play as each of the characters they chose to stay and practice "I should ... because I can...".  "I'm the Agent and I should stay because I can....".

I'm loving that role play idea...it got the hamster running in his wheel again.  It's got great camp potential, at least a day or two.

Really liked this idea. I slightly modified but kept most of the ppt in it's original form.

I like the idea of expanding the story. I'm going to do that based on a few things:

- The students will keep the team members they chose and these characters will ultimately play significant roles in the game (they could gain or lose points)

 - The students will choose 4 /10 items which will also have an impact on the points they recieve in the game. Some items will be standard survival staples (fist aid kits, rope, radio ect...) and others will be a little odd but may have a good use somewhere in the game. (ex an old book, a key, a pack of gum)

- The students will also choose 1 protection weapon
(im debating whether to add this in the game as it does group with violence and some co-teachers may not like it. If I do add, I will make sure that the weapons can be easily deleted according to teacher preference and it will make no impact on the game whatsoever.)

- The story I hope will take 30-40 minutes to complete. There will be dice rolling to determine what happens and point distribution, multiple choice options each team can choose, and some events will only be triggered if a certain character is present in the teams party.

Ideas about the story and post-game role play are welcome.
