Making Plans lesson - Battleship
« on: April 08, 2011, 10:06:29 PM »
Used this lesson for 3rd grade Middle Schoolers and went well. After a couple of sketchy tries, it became evident that super clear instructions with the help of the co-teacher was needed for a successful class. They loved it though, everyone got into it to the point that the class sounded like a super busy English coffee shop.

Couple of warmup activites and a brief review comprise the first few slides, which you may want to delete.

phrases were used to support Chi Hak Sah text material: Are you going.., Shall we..., Why don't we..., How about going..., Let's go....(but mostly Are you going)

Hope some can make use of it. Again I didn't do all the work.

Hi There!

OK first things first, this game is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! for my next week's lesson. Topic - quite simply Making Plans!

Only thing is - and please excuse my "techonologically useless "need to ask about the BOMB game" because I'm not exactly sure how to play....
Could you post some instructions on there. I know it's clear...but *gulp* i've never played battleship before...but if you could enlighten me as to how I play I would LOVE to use this next week!

CHEERS!
