Hi folks. As my wife and I were reading books to my daughter the other day, I noticed the unbelievable amount of onomatopoeia in the Korean language.I came up with this fun worksheet to show them the differences between their sounds and ours in English and it was quite fun.If you look at the worksheet you will see the pictures and two columns. The one on the left has the sound in Hangul and the right column is blank for the students to fill in the English.I wrote the answers on the board in no particular order and the students had to guess and fill them in on the worksheet. For example, the sound of a dog in Korean is 멍멍 and if they guessed correctly they would write woof woof in the English column.Hope this a t least gives people some ideas!!
Have a great day,
Jim
