This worked really well for getting the conversation going especially the videoclips (I used any videoclips from YouTube with the keywords 'extreme sports') at the start! Went a lot better than I thought it would. Kids really enjoyed :)

You inspired me to do an impromptu extreme sports lesson today for some of my classes. So far one class has had difficulties free talking about obscure "sports". Also describing the word Trick can sometimes be tricky depending on their level. haha Thanks for the idea though!

dont forget to add in breakdancing! it is rather popular over here, i taught a bunch of my kids and we put on a show this winter.

Good lesson! I am using the powerpoint. Im doing this lesson with my after school program and I think im going to take them outside and play a sport after the powerpoint although it wont be an extreme sport maybe just kick ball
