I used HoodWinked in HS class.  Should be okay for 6th grade with subtitles.  I usually get my subtitled movies in Songtan.

It depends on the amount of time you have.I only have 45min per class so I usually download tv series for the class. The kids seem to like CSI, NCIS, and House. BTW I work at a middle school.

I watched Deathbell and Deathbell 2.  They are korean movies but I had the English subtitles (mysoju.com).  The 6th graders wanted to watch the movie and it's easy to organize because there is no downloading required.

I like to show labyrinth or goonies, but my grade 6 are quite advanced, you might need korean subtitles for a lower level class to watch these. My old co teacher has found subtitles before so you could ask yours to help you?

How about some classics like Star Wars or Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure or even Zombieland? I think the last one is pg-13, no?

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. It might be awful, but my 6th graders last year loved it for some reason, and there wasn't a peep out of them the entire time.

Just make sure that you yourself have seen the whole episode or movie...it could get awkward and the teachers might not be happy if there are some unforeseen scenes  that are explicit or not appropriate for the young viewers...

Yeah I felt a little awkward watching Night of the Living Dead from editingthedead.com; I only saw some partial nudity and the guy punching her in the face before, thankfully, the class period was over.

Transformers 1 and 2. I hate these movies, but the kids love it.
How about Avatar, Star Trek, or Inception?

How to train your dragon

Matilda

The Princess Bride

Bridge to Terabitha

Nim's Island

My girl

The Chronicles of Narnia

What about Ferris Bueller's Day Off?  It's a classic, although it is a bit dated and maybe too much bad language.

My students' favorites last year (quite randomly) were Zathura and Despicable Me.

I've stayed with the current animated films with my Middle schoolers + they quite like them. Also, I've attached some of the worksheets I've used for them. They include:

How to Train your Dragon
Despicable Me
Megamind
Tangled (haven't created a worksheet for this one yet)

For Megamind (and Despicable Me), their websites have printable worksheets for all elementary levels.
http://www.megamind.com/ (go through + find "Activities"...that's where the prinatble templates are)
http://www.despicableme.com/

Where can you get English movies with Korean subtitles. I think for the most part I'll just show them the English movie and they can understand what they understand but if I wanted to get movies subtitled in Korean - how would I go about doing that?

I've found that my students (I've taught elem. and highschool) LOVE "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs".

I know it's not PG-13, but...

thanks guys. i think zathura and diary of wimpy kid would be great! id love to show zombieland although il prob have to watch it again to make sure its pg-13 enough for school. i teach 6th graders, and about 80% of them have literally seen 90% of all animations (new and old) so i wanna find something they havnt seen or heard about yet. i gave them about 10 movies choices thinking i was being a very generous teaching but the general consensus was...seen it, seen it, seen it. lol

I think diary of a wimpy kid is an excellent suggestion.
