Buying Texts/Teacher's Guides
« on: September 16, 2014, 04:25:05 PM »
Does anyone know a place I can just walk in in person and purchase the various public elementary school texts and teacher's guides?

Basically, I'm lacking some of the text resources and expected to teach from the book or at least relative to references in it. I've been issued with copies of the 2011-2013 grades 3 and 4 books instead of the ones the students actually use and the school seems uninterested in providing me with or locating the missing texts, and having already been yelled out at today for not having my own copies (despite asking repeatedly for two weeks solid for the missing items in the incomplete set left behind) I'm over pushing my case. At this point, rather than stress myself any further I'd rather just walk into a bookstore and pick up a copy myself.

The specific texts I'm seeking are:

2014-X grade 4 book with lead author Yun Yeo-beop and foreign consultant Edward Povey (student book, teacher's guide and CD). Blue cover with fun fair and kid's train. Looks like it was probably published by Cheonje, but that part of the spine has been carved out.

2012-2014 grade 5 book with lead author Ham Sun-ae and foreign consultant Frances Sohn (teacher's guide only). Orange Cover with photographed landmarks on a sketched globe. Published by Cheonje.

Location is Seoul.

Cheers!
