Hello public school teachers!

A few years ago I worked at a Korean public school.  The school used a pop-up messenger service which allowed teachers to quickly send messages and files between staff and departments.

Can someone tell me the name of the service so I can pitch it to my new school??

Or, if there's a western version of the same service that you know of...that would also be useful.  Google turned up a program called LAN Chat Enterprise, but it doesn't look that professional.

I believe there's many kind of messengers like that, and it linked with kinda intranet, not internet.
