(Vande Voort/Heidi Marie) Grade 3, Lesson 3 - "I Like Dogs"
« on: April 11, 2011, 03:43:42 pm »
Here is a review ppt. for the second half of the lesson.  I will also use it as a brief game and have students guess by making an 'X' or 'O' with their arms if the answer is "No, I don't" or "Yes, I do".

I made this powerpoint that includes all of the 'key vocabulary' that the book suggests. One of the first slides shows the opening scene from Lion King; the kids watch it and then I ask them what animals they saw in the clip. Some of the animal slides have a short clip. The kids liked it!

Survey, I used for the last lesson, Students go around asking Do you like ____? If the student responds Yes I do then they draw a smiley face. If they respond No, I don' t then draw an unhappy face.
