Charity Letters
« on: October 02, 2014, 10:30:37 AM »
I have a few no tech classes that I need holiday ideas for. I wanted to show a movie with subtitles the last two days of classes before the winter break but it will not be possible for some.

Are there any Korean charities where students can make cards or write letters wishing them a happy holiday that I can send out for the lunar new year? In the United States students often write cards for nursing homes or children's hospitals. Thanks!

As a follow up to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Lesson on waygook, I am doing a lesson on Amnesty International. November and December are "Write for Rights" months and my kids will be writing  letters of encouragement and support to people who are victims of human rights abuses from a list that should be out soon. Also, at Christmas they will be sending Christmas cards to the US troops stationed near Seoul. Flat Stanley is another project the kids really enjoyed. Let me know if you would like more details.
