I did unit with my extra class on who, what, where, when, why how. This PPT can last you for up to 2 weeks depending on how much writing you have them do. I gave each question word its own phrase to teach them and the elaborated on that phrase.
I had them make a bucket list too to tell me what they want to do (before they die or tomorrow. Some even just wrote what they want like an ipad or something like that)
For the pictures, I used them for "What are you looking for?" and we played a group game where the students had the item taped to their forehead and they had to find their partner with the matching picture.
For a relaxing Friday class, I have them where's waldo. They liked that. They had to find other things in the waldo picture too. I got that off of google images.

Thanks. I'd like to use your materials with my kids, but unfortunately I can't open the docx and pptx files. Is there any chance you could repost them as ppt and doc files please?

How to change from PPTX to PPT:
Open the PPTX.
Click on the icon in the top left corner.
Click on "Save As."
Down at the bottom it will say "File name:" and "Save as file type:"
Where it says "Save as file type:," select the down arrow and change it to, "PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation (*.ppt)."
Click "Save."

I have a feeling that since it has been so long ago, you won't be able to post these, but can you try and post them again? Thanks!
