So I have a few ideas for my scary story activity for my Halloween classes and I wanted to get some input in choosing the best activity.
Story card: Students play with cards that have verbs and nouns and make sentences using those cards.
Story prompts: Students are given story prompts and are expected to make one or two sentences with those prompts. Students then read their sentences out loud.
Puzzle story/poem: Students in the class are given one line of a story or a poem. Students go around the room saying their line of the story/poem, trying to place the lines in order.
These are just some ideas. Let me know if there are any other ideas you have and given the choices, which activities would you choose for your 6th graders.
