Tongue Twisters

Tricky tongue twisters.  Good for reviewing pronunciation, however, many of the words they may not comprehend. :P

Hey Somark,  I just found this on my flash drive from S.Korea.  I'll attach it to your post.  It's a powerpoint for a tongue twister lesson.  Pretty straight forward, you can make out to whatever you want.

        I do this in my high school class for warm up and pronunciation,,

I use tongue twisters all the time! the kids love it and it helps them practice pronunciation! Im thinking of getting them to come up with their own tongue twisters!

Here's a tongue twister .PPT with Pikachu (Peter) the Piper, and some explanation of a few vocabulary words which the students might not be accustomed to. They mostly loved that I had used Pikachu, instead of Peter, and really helped with grabbing some of the students' attention. Enjoy.

I think tongue twisters are great for any level especially when you get the students to compete with each other. However, when I did tongue twisters I only did letters that they have difficulty pronouncing instead of doing every letter.

i think they are good for future pronunciation, even if they can't do them accurately. They may find it easier to pronounce difficult words later. Thanks for the idea!
