Murder Mystery Lesson
« on: November 14, 2014, 02:46:46 PM »
My grade 1 and 2 students (boys) loved the first murder mystery lesson I found on waygook.

I found this lesson on other ESL sites as millionaire mystery, but simplified it and made a simple PPT for them.

The lesson went down like a charm and we had extra time to play mafia at the end!

I used this lesson on my higher lever grade 2 students.

This looks great! Thanks for sharing. About how much time did it take? I have fairly low level students and I would prefer to finish it in one class.

Did you assign roles to any students to read the clues or anything?

I'm thinking of having them figure it out in teams or something, so the higher levels can help the lower levels.

I read the clues with them, and put them into groups of 4. I have some low levels that I mixed in with the other high levels
